Are all fragrances on El Scento authentic?
Yes. Every fragrance we sell is 100% genuine. We source from trusted suppliers and authorized distributors only. If you ever have a concern about authenticity, contact us with your order number and we will help.
What brands do you carry?
We stock designer, niche, and Middle Eastern fragrances from well-known houses. Browse by brand on our Brands page or use shop filters to narrow by family, season, or note.
Do you sell samples or decants?
Yes — we offer decants/samples on selected products. Check the product page for available sizes (e.g. 2 ml, 5 ml, 10 ml, 50 ml, 100 ml).
Choosing a fragrance
How do I choose a fragrance online?
Start with what you already like: fresh/citrus, floral, woody, oriental, or gourmand. Read the Scent structure (top, middle, base notes) and How it smells (at a glance) on each product page. Use filters for season, time of day, and gender presentation if you want something for a specific mood or occasion.
What is the difference between EDT, EDP, and Parfum?
- Eau de Toilette (EDT) — lighter, often 5–15% fragrance oil; good for daytime and warm weather.
- Eau de Parfum (EDP) — richer, often 10–20%; longer lasting, popular all-round choice.
- Parfum / Extrait — most concentrated; small amount goes a long way.
Why does the same perfume smell different on me?
Skin chemistry, diet, hydration, and even weather change how a fragrance develops. That is normal. If unsure, try a smaller size first.
How long does a fragrance usually last?
It depends on concentration, your skin, and the scent itself. Many EDPs last 4–8 hours on skin; lighter EDTs may fade sooner. Applying to pulse points and moisturized skin can help. Product pages may include wear guidance where we have it.

How do I place an order?
Add items to your cart, proceed to checkout, enter shipping details, and complete payment. You will receive an order confirmation email once the order is placed.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit card, FPX, online banking, e-wallets. All payments are processed securely through our payment provider.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Contact us as soon as possible after ordering. If your order has not been packed yet, we will try to help. Once shipped, changes may not be possible.
Do you offer wholesale or bulk pricing?

Do I need an account to order?
No — you can checkout as a guest. An account lets you track orders and speed up future purchases.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes. We do not store full card details on our servers. Payments are handled by our certified payment partner over encrypted connections.

Product care
How should I store my fragrance?
Keep bottles upright, away from direct sunlight and heat. A cool, dry place (not the bathroom) helps preserve the scent. Tightly close caps after use.
How long does perfume last before it goes “off”?
Most fragrances stay good for 3–5+ years when stored properly. Citrus-heavy scents may fade sooner; darker orientals and ouds often age well. If the colour, smell, or texture changes noticeably, it may be time to replace it.
